monday.com publishes three self-serve seat rates, a 3-seat minimum, and a credit line that gets added to the pricing card and then discounted away. Put your seat count in below and the calculator returns what your card is actually charged — on annual billing and month-to-month, side by side.
Seats are paid users. monday.com bills a minimum of 3 seats, so enter your real number and the calculator will apply the floor where it applies.
| Plan | Annual rate /seat/mo | Monthly billing /seat/mo | Annual billing /yr | Monthly billing /yr | AI credits included |

monday.com's pricing cards used to show a single seat rate. They now show an arithmetic line, and the line is where the money hides. Copied from the Pro card at the page's default 10 seats:
The same structure applies one tier down: Basic adds 1,000 credits at $10 and subtracts a $10 discount; Standard adds 2,000 credits at $20 and subtracts $20. In other words the AI allowance is priced at $10 per 1,000 credits per month, then cancelled out by a discount monday.com calls a special offer. While that discount runs, the published seat rate is the whole total.
Annual billing first, because that is the rate vendors quote when they say "from $9". Figures are per month for the whole team, not per seat.
| Plan | 5 seats | 15 seats | 50 seats | Per year at 15 seats |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $45/mo | $135/mo | $450/mo | $1,620 |
| Standard | $60/mo | $180/mo | $600/mo | $2,160 |
| Pro | $95/mo | $285/mo | $950/mo | $3,420 |
Annual per-seat rates $9 / $12 / $19 × seat count. At 50 seats monday.com's own FAQ directs you to request a quote above 40 users, so those three figures are list-rate arithmetic rather than a price you can check out.
Now the same three team sizes on month-to-month billing, which is what you pay if you are piloting or if procurement will not sign a year.
| Plan | 5 seats | 15 seats | 50 seats | What monthly billing adds at 15 seats |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $60/mo | $180/mo | $600/mo | +$540/yr |
| Standard | $70/mo | $210/mo | $700/mo | +$360/yr |
| Pro | $120/mo | $360/mo | $1,200/mo | +$900/yr |
Monthly per-seat rates $12 / $14 / $24 × seat count. monday.com states that the monthly plan is not discounted, which is why the yearly toggle carries the whole saving.
Three cases where the arithmetic says no, all of them checkable with the calculator above.
You are one or two people. The free plan holds up to 2 seats, and the moment you need a paid feature you are billed for 3. If the paid feature is automations, the real comparison is $36 a month on Standard against a $7–$10 per-seat tool with automation included — at two users, the cheaper tool wins by more than half.
You are past roughly 10–12 seats and mostly need task tracking. Flat-rate pricing beats per-seat pricing at that size. Basecamp Studio is $59/month for unlimited users, which is less than a 10-seat Pro workspace at $190 and far less than 15 seats at $285. The trade is real — no Gantt charts, no workload view, a cap on simultaneous projects — but if none of those are in use, you are paying for the tier ladder rather than the work. Our alternatives guide prices that swap tool by tool.
You need more than 40 seats. Above 40 users the list rate is no longer your price, so do not build a budget on the 50-seat column above. Ask for the quote first, then compare it with a per-seat vendor that still publishes its rate at your size.
Both products share the pricing page and neither is included in a Work Management plan. Annual per-seat rates recorded in September 2026: monday CRM $12 / $17 / $28 (Basic, Standard, Pro), monday dev $9 / $12 / $20. They carry their own free trials, their own seat minimums and their own AI credit allowances, so adding a second product to a workspace adds a second line to the bill rather than upgrading the first one.
$90 per month on Basic, $120 on Standard and $190 on Pro when billed annually — $1,080, $1,440 and $2,280 a year. On month-to-month billing the same 10 seats run $120, $140 and $240, which is $1,440, $1,680 and $2,880 a year.
Yes: monday.com's pricing FAQ states that plans start from 3 users, and the seat selector opens at 3. A solo workspace pays for three seats regardless.
That is the number on the billing toggle. Per tier, annual billing is 25% below the monthly rate on Basic, 14% on Standard and 21% on Pro, so the saving depends on which plan you pick rather than on one site-wide figure.
The pricing page directs you to request a quote. Self-serve checkout ends at 40 users, so treat any larger figure built from list rates as a floor.
Each plan includes a monthly allowance — 1,000 credits on Basic, 2,000 on Standard, 3,000 on Pro — and the pricing card lists the allowance's value ($10, $20, $30) against an equal special monthly discount. More credits can be purchased at any time.
No. It prices monday.com Work Management, which is the product most teams mean by "monday.com". The CRM and dev rates are listed above so you can add them by hand.
