TL;DR — what Freshsales actually costs

The published rates, all of them

What the pricing page shows (checked October 2026): three plans — Growth "$9 /user/month, billed annually, for startups and SMBs", Pro "$39 /user/month, billed annually, for growing and mid-sized businesses", Enterprise "$59 /user/month, billed annually, for mid to large-sized businesses". The billing switch sits on Annually with a badge reading "Save 20%"; selecting Monthly renders $11, $47 and $71 per user per month.— freshworks.com/crm/pricing/, rendered page, checked October 2026
PlanAnnual /user/moMonthly /user/moExtra per seat per year
Growth$9$11$24 (+22.2%)
Pro$39$47$96 (+20.5%)
Enterprise$59$71$144 (+20.3%)

Figures exclude taxes, from Freshworks' CRM pricing page checked October 2026. Annualised, the seats cost $108, $468 and $708 per user per year on annual billing.

Unlike its larger CRM competitors, Freshworks publishes a monthly price for every tier rather than hiding the rate behind a sales flow — Pipedrive no longer lists month-to-month rates at all, and Zoho CRM keeps its monthly rates behind the billing toggle instead of printing them beside the tiers ($20 for Standard against a $14 annual rate). What Freshworks does not do is get the badge right: the page advertises "Save 20%" while the entry tier's own two rates are 22.2% apart. The same pattern shows up across this market — monday.com's toggle says "SAVE 18%" against measured savings of 21% and 25% — so treat the badge as a floor, not a figure.

The step from $9 to $39 is 4.3x

Most CRM ladders move in increments. HubSpot's Starter to Professional is roughly a tenfold jump, but it buys a different product surface; Pipedrive's Lite $14 to Growth $39 is 2.8x. Freshsales' Growth to Pro is 4.3x, and the tiers are advertised as successive rather than different tiers of the product.

ComparisonTier oneTier twoMultiple
Freshsales Growth to Pro$9$394.3x
Pipedrive Lite to Growth$14$392.8x
monday CRM Basic to Standard$12$171.4x
Zoho CRM Standard to Professional$14$231.6x

What that means in practice: a team that starts on Growth and then needs what Pro adds — contact scoring, deal insights, sales sequences, territory management — is not choosing a bigger plan, it is re-pricing the whole account. At 15 seats the annual bill moves from $1,620 to $7,020, a $5,400 increase, and at 50 seats from $5,400 to $23,400.

Test the tier before you standardise on it. If a $9 seat looks like the cheapest way into a CRM — and it often is — run the features that only Pro carries during the trial. The re-pricing risk on this ladder is not the annual discount, it is the tier multiple.

Two add-ons, and neither takes the annual discount

Freshsales prices its add-ons per user or per volume, separately from seats, and — unlike the plans themselves — at the same price regardless of how you pay:

Add-onRateAnnual billingMonthly billing
Branded documents$19 /user/month$19$19
Freddy AI Agent$49 / 100 sessions$49$49
Growth seat, for comparison—$9$11

Two consequences. First, the "Save 20%" promise applies to seats only: commit to a year and the add-ons cost exactly what they cost month to month, so the discount you were promised shrinks as a share of your bill the more add-ons you switch on.

Second, the branding add-on costs more than twice the seat it sits on. At 15 users, branded documents bill $3,420 a year against $1,620 for the seats themselves — the add-on is two-thirds of the account, for a feature that only changes what your quotes look like. The Freddy AI Agent is priced by volume instead: $49 buys 100 sessions, which is $0.49 per session, with no seat linkage at all. A 15-person team where each rep works through one pack a month is at $735 a month — $8,820 a year, 5.4x the seat bill.

By way of calibration, buying AI capacity per action rather than per seat is now the normal shape in this market: as we recorded in the Asana pricing breakdown, Asana sells prepaid AI requests at $0.50 each and on-demand requests at $0.60. Two vendors, two different meters, and a per-action rate within a cent of each other.

There is no free plan in the grid

The plan area of the pricing page lists three cards — Growth, Pro and Enterprise. There is no $0 tier, and the free offer on the page is a trial rather than a plan. That would be unremarkable except for what the page still says about itself:

"Freshsales pricing starts from $9 USD, with a free plan and enterprise plan available. Compare our plans to discover…"— the description tag of freshworks.com/crm/pricing/, read from the page source, checked October 2026

Search for Freshsales pricing and that is the sentence you may be shown. The plan grid no longer supports it. Anyone arriving at the page expecting a perpetual free tier — as CRMs including Zoho CRM still offer, for three users — will find a trial and a $9 entry seat instead. Since that is also the cheapest entry seat in our CRM set, the missing free tier costs less to work around here than at most vendors: $108 a year for one user on Growth, annual billing.

The bill at 5, 15 and 50 seats

PlanBilling5 seats /mo15 seats /mo50 seats /mo
Growth $9Annual$45$135$450
Growth $11Monthly$55$165$550
Pro $39Annual$195$585$1,950
Pro $47Monthly$235$705$2,350
Enterprise $59Annual$295$885$2,950
Enterprise $71Monthly$355$1,065$3,550

Annualised on the entry tier: $540 for five people, $1,620 for fifteen, $5,400 for fifty. Against the field at 15 seats on annual billing, that puts Freshsales Growth below monday CRM Standard ($2,160), Pipedrive Lite and Zoho CRM Standard (both $2,520) and close to HubSpot's Starter promotional rate ($7 a seat, or $1,260 for fifteen seats, reverting to a $20 list at renewal). No seat minimum is published anywhere on the page, which means Freshsales does not force the 3-seat purchase that monday.com and monday CRM both enforce — the smallest paid mailbox here is a single $9 seat.

The reason to be careful is the tier you land on rather than the seat price. Freshsales' entry tier is one of the cheapest in the market and its second tier is one of the most expensive per seat; the whole budget question is which side of that 4.3x multiple your feature list falls on.

Who should not buy Freshsales at these rates

How to run the numbers for your own team

The seat arithmetic here is straightforward: seats × $9, $39 or $59 on annual billing, with a 20% to 22% premium if you pay monthly, plus $19 per user per month if you want branded documents and $49 per 100 sessions if you want the AI agent. To put Freshsales beside the rest of the CRM field at your own seat count on both billing cycles, use the CRM cost calculator.

For the wider comparison: what a CRM really costs at 5, 15 and 50 seats covers eight vendors including the annual-versus-monthly penalty per seat, and the Asana pricing breakdown shows how the same metered-AI pattern is priced on the project-management side.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Freshsales cost per user?

Growth $9, Pro $39 and Enterprise $59 per user per month billed annually; $11, $47 and $71 if you pay monthly. That is $108, $468 and $708 per user per year on annual billing, and no seat minimum is published.

Does Freshsales have a free plan?

The plan grid lists Growth, Pro and Enterprise only — no $0 tier. The free offer is a trial, even though the page's own description tag still reads "Freshsales pricing starts from $9 USD, with a free plan and enterprise plan available". The cheapest paid entry is one seat at $108 a year.

Why is the jump from Growth to Pro so large?

Because the tiers are not priced as small steps. Pro is 4.3x the Growth seat — $360 more per user per year — and a 15-person team moving up pays $5,400 more a year. Treat the tier decision, not the annual discount, as the real budget risk here.

Are Freshsales add-ons discounted on annual billing?

No. Branded documents is $19 per user per month and the Freddy AI Agent is $49 per 100 sessions in both billing cycles, so the annual switch saves nothing on either. At 15 seats the branding add-on bills $3,420 a year against $1,620 for the seats.

How much does Freshsales cost for a 15-person team?

$135 a month — $1,620 a year — on Growth billed annually, $585 a month ($7,020 a year) on Pro and $885 a month ($10,620 a year) on Enterprise. Paying monthly instead takes those to $1,980, $8,460 and $12,780.
